Qualified consumers will receive a first of the month start date following their plan selection. Sharp Health Plan will continue to accept individual and family plan applications for both your on- and off-exchange clients through August 31st, 2020. The following effective dates will apply.

State tax penalty information
Consumers who enroll by March 31st will not have a state tax penalty. However, consumers who wait and enroll in April will have to pay a penalty for their coverage gap period (e.g., four months of coverage gap for a coverage start date of May 1st).
